These two sweet girls came in to board with us in 2006. They were abandoned only a few months later when their humans, who had moved out of the country, stopped communicating with us and stopped paying for boarding. One cat passed away due to renal failure a few years later at the age of 15. The other was with us for almost 8 years, passing away due to renal failure at the age of 18.

These two beautiful cats came to us in 2004 from a person desperate to board them due to allergies. They were great cats. Unfortunately their human stopped paying for them a year after the cats arrived here. We lost him to heart failure in 2011. She succumbed to chronic kidney failure in 2014, 10 years after being abandoned.

Four cats, including a mother and two of her kitties, arrived in 2011 from out of the country as their human was in the process of relocating elsewhere in world. Unfortunately the person simply walked away and abandoned these lovely cats leaving the cats brokenhearted. Sadly, the mother cat has passed away due to complications from pulmonary edema and her cats missed her terribly. Two more cats have passed away just last year, each due to heart failure. And the fourth cat -- the sole surviving abandoned cat -- passed away earlier this month

This handsome guy was one of our very first long-term temporary care boarder kitties. He was a very handsome fella, and so sweet. His human dropped him off and drove away, never to be heard from again. Summer turned to fall, fall turned to winter. He would sit and watch out the window, no doubt expecting his human to return for him as they had promised. They never came back. He died that winter of heart failure.
